The Proteo cab is equipped as standard to a high level for passenger comfort. Standard equipment includes:

- Electric windows & mirrors
- Cruise control and computer
- Keyless entry
- Storage pockets
- Adjustable driver comfort seat and double passenger seat (standard cab)
Options include an extended cab which can be configured to provide day seating with removable table and single turning front seats or sleeping accommodation with bunk beds. The seating can be upholstered in standard cloth or leather.
The cab features a viewing window to the horse area for use with the rear view mirror so the driver always has a view of the horses.
An option of automatic gearbox is available for those preferring automatic gearshift.
